According to statistics from the French Ministry of Health, hospital-acquired infections result in over 1 O thousand deaths per year. Thanks to TEC/BRIOPRUF stretch ceilings, TECTEND contributes to combating the spread of hospital-acquired infections in hospital ceilings. The name 'Bio-Pruf refers to an internai treatment performed during the manufacturing process that incorporated a bio-stabilizing substance into the PVC used in the ceiling. The treatment ensures that any bacteria or fungi are unable to grow ceiling, lasting its lifecycle.

 

The TEC/BIOPRUF system was tested by the Pasteur lnstitute in Lille.
